As I grow please...Understand that I am growing up and changing very fast. 

當我成長時...請了解我正不斷長大，而且變化迅速。

It must be difficult to keep pace, but please try.
雖然跟我和諧相處不容易，但仍請您盡量嘗試。

As I grow please...Listen to me and give me brief, clear answers to my questions. 
當我成長時...請傾聽我，並對我所提出的問題給予簡單明確的答案，

Then I will keep sharing my thoughts and feelings.
如此，我才能繼續跟您分享我的想法與心得。

As I grow please...Reward me for telling the truth, Then I am not frightened into lying.

當我成長時...請對我說真話，這樣我就不會因害怕而落入謊言之中。

As I grow please...Tell me when you make mistakes and what you learned from them. 

當我成長時...當您犯錯時，請告訴我，並讓我知道您從錯誤中學到了什麼；

Then I can accept that I am O.K, even when I blunder.

這樣，即使我犯錯時，也仍然能肯定自己。

As I grow please..Pay attention to me and spend time with me. 

當我成長時...請關心我、注意我，花時間跟我在一起；

Then I can believe that I am important and worthwhile.

如此，我才能相信自己是重要的、有價值的。

As I grow please... Do the things that you want me to do. 

當我成長時...請以身作則，做您要我做的事；
Then I have a good, positive role model.

這樣，我才能有優良與正確的榜樣。

As I grow please...Trust and respect me. 

當我成長時...請信任我，尊重我；

Even though I am smaller than you, I have feelings and needs, just like you.
雖然我比您小，但仍與您一樣，有感覺、有需要。

As I grow please... Compliment and appreciate me. 

當我成長時...請讚美我、賞識我；

Then I will feel good and I will want to continue to please you.
如此，我才能肯定自己，並渴望繼續討您歡欣。

As I grow please...Help me explore my unique interest, talents, and potential.

當我成長時...請幫助我發掘自己獨特的興趣、天份與潛力；

In order for me to be happy, I need to be me and not you or someone you want me to be.
為了使我快樂，我必須成為我自己，而不是您，或者您希望我成為的某個人。

As I grow please...Be an Individual and create your own happiness. 

當我成長時...請您成為獨特的您，創造您自己的快樂；

Then you can teach me the same and I can live a happy, successful and fulfilling life.
這樣，您才能以同樣的方式教導我， 我也才能因此擁有快樂、成功、實現理想的人生。
